Why Collectivism Threatens American Freedom: A Look at Kamala's Vision

Socialism and communism are collectivist ideologies. Collectivism eradicates individual rights and instead puts total control over individual lives into the hands of a few under the pretext of seeking Utopia for all.

Elites, oligarch, tyrant and demagogue are words that have historically described those very same people once they get control of a country. Their overwrought personalities and dictatorial behavior have always led to disaster for the citizenry of their countries and of their neighboring countries. Predictably, most of these home-grown monsters grew drunk on their power and began to kill people they hated with abandon.

History is seething with examples of “enticing” dictators who began as collectivists. Collectivism is an easy sell. Let’s all go along as a group and we’ll all do better. But, wiping out individual rights, in preference of group think, has never proven to be anything other than a disaster for the individuals.

Once in control, the collectivist, who was given the ok by his citizens to make decisions for them, finds the power irresistible and all of them eventually killed millions in order to sustain that power over other people’s lives. These included Stalin-USSR (23M); Hitler-Germany (17M); Pol Pot-Cambodia (2M); Saddam Hussein-Iraq (1M); Yakubu Gowon-Nigeria (2M); Castro-Cuba (20K); Kim il Sung-North Korea (4M); Mao Zedong-China (40-80M); Mengistu Haile Mariam-Ethiopia (1.2M); Muammar Qaddafi-Libya (10K); and Pinochet-Chile (40K).

This is what Kamala Harris really wants. She is, what appears to be at this moment in time, a good intentioned collectivist. Let’s all just get along… But, what she really wants is the power to abuse our laws, just like what happened to Donald Trump in NYC, and bend our citizenry to her will so that she has the final say on every aspect of our lives.

And, despite her protests to the contrary, she has no intention of replacing our rights and freedoms with something better. She simply wants the power to destroy the people she hates. And, this becomes clearer once you realize that she lacks intellect, integrity and the ability to make sound decisions. These things alone would make it impossible for her to improve on our perfect system. And they should set off alarm bells everywhere.

Unlike in most of South America, Asia, Africa and Central America, where countries such as collectivist China, Korea, India, Japan, Indonesia, Ghana, Guatemala, Egypt, Brazil, Afghanistan, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Venezuela, Columbia, Ecuador, Cyprus and Serbia exist, collectivism has never taken hold in the West and especially in America. This is because most Western country’s men have a strong sense of individualism, which they are very leery about giving up. And, especially because collectivism is historically the opposite of what America has always stood for and embraced. Individual freedoms and the protection of those individual rights is the foundation of our Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence. We were raised to expect these protections to continue into the foreseeable future and they should.

America is the Freedom Capital of the World. That’s why we became so successful. Our Founding Fathers, in their brilliance, have bequeathed American citizens a set of laws that encouraged individuals to do their best. They encourage people to stand on their own two feet, work their tails off and reap all the benefits of their labor without interference from others, especially dictators. The Founding Fathers trusted their fellow Christian citizens to do the right thing without supervision, coercion or threats. This is why our men became astounding inventors, businessmen, researchers, builders and developers.

No one questioned this winning strategy until recently. Now, those same men are made to feel guilty for pursuing their individual dreams, when in fact, they are the reason America is the greatest country in the world. If the collectivists can destroy the influence of these men, or denigrate them to the point of oblivion, they will succeed and Kamala will be there to applaud and laugh.

Do we really want to give up what our ancestors worked tirelessly and diligently to accomplish? No, we don’t need the government’s “help”. We can, and have been, doing it alone for over two centuries.

As American individualists, our laws have given us freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly and freedom from unreasonable search and seizure. Our individual constitutional rights are guaranteed and those include the right to keep and bear arms, the right to due process of the law, the right to petition and the right to a speedy trial. In addition, our laws protect us from double jeopardy, from cruel and unusual punishment, from self-incrimination and the seizure of property under eminent domain without due compensation. It’s obvious that we have all we need to continue to be successful and only the nefarious would pretend otherwise.

So, why would we choose to give it all up to Kamala’s ill-conceived, collectivist decision-making?

We shouldn’t! And, don’t be fooled, she has no intention of making your life better, just her own. Just ask the January 6th guys who are still sitting in jail nearly 4 years later. They have had most of their constitutional rights stripped away. And if Kamala takes over, their plight will only be the tip of the iceberg of things to come.

Vote as if your good American life depended on it, because it does.
